London Riots: SGS Meets the Challenge
 
During the nationwide riots we have experienced this week, some of the nation’s largest cities suffered numerous incidents of vandalism, violence, looting and arson against both residents and businesses. Our 24 Hour Helpdesk started receiving calls from our customers the morning after the first evening of riots, beginning with requirements for 10 sites in Croydon, demand increased dramatically as the riots continued to spread across London and, as the week continued, the rest of England. Our Helpdesk Administrators responded quickly and effectively, contacting our Officers across the country to ensure all demands were met and each site was manned by Officers who were fully briefed and kept appraised of the situation across the country.
One of our customers, for whom we dispatched Officers to 15 sites across London, made these comments in a ‘thank you’ email:

“… all of our teams across the UK have done a great job, I am very proud of the business thanks for your efforts…”

“In view of the pressure we were all put under over the last few days to provide extra cover, I think we did a very good job… Can I thank you all for your efforts as I think we did ourselves proud”

During those 5 days, we dispatched over 195 Officers to more than 90 sites across the country. This was not only a huge logistical undertaking, but also demanded close management of our sites, resources and requirements. The successful achievement of all customer requests was made possible by the efficiency of our 24 Hour Helpdesk and the responsiveness of our Officers, all of whom have received personal thanks and congratulations from our Chief Executive Officer. We would like to give particular mention to Liam, our Helpdesk Supervisor, Laurence our Helpdesk Scheduler and the rest of our Helpdesk Team Shahzad, Ibrar and Samee for their unparalleled dedication during such a vital period for our customers.

ACS PACESETTERS Scheme


Sentinel Group Security are delighted to have joined the ACS PACESETTERS Scheme.  The scheme is made up of Contract Security Guarding Companies who are in the top 15% benchmarking and achievement levels set by the Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme.

We have Relocated!


Sentinel Group Security are excited to announce that following a period of growth within the organisation we have relocated to new offices at Loughton.    This move will enable the Group to better service our customers.    Our new offices are purposely chosen for ease of access to our existing and prospective customers.  Just yards from Debden tube station, we have easy access into Central London.  We also benefit from many nearby motorway links including the M11, M25 and M1.

Our new office provides a much more modern working environment for all of our staff.  We are based on two floors with our own reception area and 24/7 control room service.  There is also onsite parking for our staff and for any customers or visitors wishing to come along and see us.
